The energy was electric at Youth Matters Fest 2025, what a day it was! Over 360 young people poured into the event, keen to explore future opportunities, score prizes, and soak up the good vibes and they were not disappointed.
From the moment the doors opened, Arcadia Colleges own student DJs had the crowd buzzing with beats that set the perfect backdrop for a full on festival of careers and community.
The Formula High School girls program turned heads with their pride and joy – a hot pink car they’ve been building and racing. It was fantastic to see so many young girls gathered around, excited about the possibilities in trades and tech.
With over 30 employers and services lining the venue, attendees had plenty of chances to chat with industry reps, take on fun challenges, and even find potential career leads. The vibes were fun, but the connections were serious, from hospitality, trades to health, there was something for everyone.
Prizes were flying out all day, with loads of smiling faces and even more excited chats about what comes next. We had a passport competition running throughout the day to encourage students to visit every employer and have a chat.
We had a chill-out zone with pizza, snacks, and refreshing drinks, a place for young people to take a breather from the chaos of the festival and recollect their thoughts. When planning the event, we made sure to keep young people’s mental health and wellbeing in mind.
Whether it was networking, learning, or just hanging out – Youth Matters Fest 2025 delivered in every way. We cannot wait to start the planning for Youth Matters Fest 2026, it’ll be better than ever!
